AAZO Equine Services has evolved from my passion for all
things horses. In March 2013 I started my study through Equestricare to
become a qualifiedEquine Sports Massage Therapist. In June 2014 I completed my
study and am now fully qualified and insured and ready to offer my
massage service to your horse.
I have tried my hand at working in Horse Administration roles and as a steward in harness racing but it was never close enough to the horses. I have been riding horse as far back as I can remember and more recently I have been riding our race horses as they retire.
My passion for the performance side of things came about as we started to spell our family thoroughbreds at my home between racing preparations and I took great interest in their condition when they returned and coped with spelling in the paddock.
The first race horse that I worked on during a racing prep was our 4 year old maiden "Kwaboom" our trainer rolled his eyes while I was working on him, his response was along the lines of well you wont hurt him!! I worked on him on a Saturday morning and he came out and won the following Wednesday our trainer them told me "now you're got 16 more to do" I work on all our horses when they are at home and know that they go back to work in the best physical condition I could have them.
I also work with Dressage horses, Eventers, Pony club horses, Performance Horses, Showjumpers, Retirees and injured horses and am happy to work with any horse . One of my interest areas is rehabilitation and laminitis recovery.
I am continuing my study in an attempt to offer further services to our equine friends. I am currently working towards a red light therapy qualification and I look forward to being able to work with you and your horse to improve performance.
